Identification details


Version I 1962-1963 Disc brake without white plastic grilles (earliest examples only). Smooth side-panels with no trim (LI-type), side-panel anti-vibration buffers all in rubber, rear “Lambretta 175 TV” script on white ground. Speedometer cable with small dial (until 12/62 then fitted with large dial). Four pole flywheel magneto (6-pole from 09/62).
Version II December 1963 – to end of production Side-panels with aluminium trim (special-type), side-panel anti-vibration buffers fitted with small metal springs, rear “Lambretta 175 TV” script on blue ground.

Colour schemes and finishes


First version: Body parts in New White: fork, frame, leg-shield, fuel tank, handlebar and headset, rear mudguard, floorboard tunnel, wheel hubs, front brake disc backing plate, wheel rims, spare wheel holder, cylinder head air intake manifold (2 pieces), glovebox and lid, tail-light body, fuel tap hatch, stand, stand mudguard, right-hand rear running-board L-bracket, battery holder strap, air box, filter carrier and air intake beneath the saddle, side-panels, front cowling, horn grille, front mudguard, fuel tank support strap (from 1963).

In the two-tone version the side-panels, the front cowling, the horn grille and the front mudguard may be: Coral Red (earliest examples only), Ruby Red, Light Yellow or Dark Grey.
Attention! Note: In the case of the version I only: half of the cylinder cap (the spark plug side), the lower side of the central platform, the internal sides of the side panels and the rear mudguard are finished wityh a sound-deadening black paint NOT the body colour.

Second version Body parts in Metallic Blue: fork, frame, leg-shield, handlebar and headset, floorboard tunnel, wheel hubs, front brake disc backing plate, wheel rims, spare wheel holder, glovebox lid, tail-light body, fuel tap hatch, stand, stand mudguard, right-hand rear running-board L bracket air intake beneath the saddle, side-panels, front cowling, horn grille, front mudguard. Parts in New White: fuel tank, rear mudguard, cylinder head air intake manifold (2 pieces), glovebox, air box, filter carrier, fuel tank support strap, battery support strap.
Black finish Rear damper, saddle frame and clamp.
Fiat 690 metallic grey Front dampers.
Crankcase Bare aluminium.
Carburettor Carburettor body and float chamber cover bare aluminium, zinc-plated, screws and fittings.
Control cable sheaths Grey.
Saddles Dark blue imitation leather with “Innocenti” or “Giuliari” rear script.
