Innocenti brought in the design house Bertonie to completely re design the GP range. This model was only known as the GP on the UK and a few other markets, on all others it was known as the DL

Identification details


Version I to mid-1970 Cast-aluminium horn grille and dummy rear air intake, fuel tap hatch in painted metal.
Version II mid-1970 – to end of production Plastic horn grille, dummy rear air intake and fuel tap hatch.

Colour schemes and finishes


Body colour parts Frame, leg-shield, handlebar and headset, floorboard tunnel, glovebox lid, fuel tap hatch (if in metal), right-hand rear running-board L-bracket, air intake beneath the saddle, side-panels, front cowling, front mudguard, dummy air intake (if in metal).
White Thorn Fuel tank, rear mudguard, cylinder head air intake manifold (2 pieces), air box, filter carrier, fuel tank support strap.
Carter aluminium 8081 Wheel rims, wheel hubs, front brake shoe backing plate, stand, stand mudguard, fork, spare wheel holder. On the last examples of the 200 DL, the fork is painted in non-metallic light grey. The plastic parts (glovebox, horn grille, fuel tap hatch, dummy rear air intake) are left unpainted black.
Black finish Rear damper, horngrille, saddle frame and clamp, fuel tap, choke, glovebox handles.
Aluminium paint Front dampers (200 DL only).

Crankcase Bare aluminium.


Carburettor Carburettor body and float chamber cover bare aluminium, zinc-plated, screws and fittings.
Control cable sheaths Black.
